Sushmita Sen took to her Instagram to share a post about life and struggles. She captioned it saying, “Life is therefore, also the easiest exam, all we gotta do is prepare, learn, practice.”

Rajeev Sen who was quarantined away from his wife Charu Asopa recently surprised his lady love when he landed back in Mumbai. The duo who got married on 16th June 2019 celebrated their first wedding anniversary and shared glimpses of the same on social media. In their Instagram pictures and videos, the two of them can be seen all dressed up in white outfits while standing in front of a beautiful background.

Choreographer Ganesh Hegde in an interview recently recalled how the actress refused to lip-sync suggestive lyrics in the most popular song Mehboob Mere and forced music director Anu Malik to rewrite it. The song featured in the film Fiza which starred Hrithik Roshan and Karisma Kapoor.

The post-production part of the Sushmita Sen-starrer series 'Aarya' was majorly worked on during the lockdown, as the team coordinated with different departments over Zoom calls and Google hangouts.

On the professional front, Sushmita Sen recently made a comeback after five years through the web series Aarya. 

"The use of the Bhagavad Gita Shlokas is in the climax juxtaposed with the headspace of Aarya who is at crossroads at that point where she is delving with betrayal from her family, and this symbolic use of shlokas with the analogy between Mahabharat and Aarya's character, "says composer Vishal Khurana

Sushmita Sen shared a number of fan-made posters of Aarya to which the fan has give twists from the popular Bollywood and Hollywood movies like 'Gangs of Wassepur' and 'The Godfather.'

"I always believe I am a satellite hit because whatever work I did when it came on satellite, it became a hit and people started applauding the performance.But back then, when it was in the theatres, it didn’t work,” says Sushmita Sen.

"I have seen you mould into Aarya, I have seen you grow as Aarya. I have seen you give your soul to Aarya and now I can finally say, I have seen you rule the world as Aarya," said Rohman Shawl.

Directed by Neerja fame filmmaker Ram Madhvani, Aarya is an official adaptation of the popular Dutch crime drama Penoza. 

Director Ram Madhvani is happy Sushmita Sen agreed to do 'Aarya' as she embodies the strength and vulnerability of the character. The show also features Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das, Manish Chaudhary, and Sikander Kher.

Sushmita Sen said the makers of Aarya have chalked out plans for next few seasons of the show, which also features Sikandar Kher, Ankur Bhatia and Namit Das
